“Happy Earth Day everyone!
Earth Day is an occasion where we all take the time to become more conscious of the way we treat our planet, but in reality, it’s something we should be aware of every single day.
It shouldn’t take a holiday to remind us of the damage we’ve done to the earth. Every single day should be spent doing little things to conserve energy and water. Walk places! Ride your bike! Not only is it good for you, but you won’t be emitting pollutants into the earth’s atmosphere. Obviously, conserving water is a big (and easy) thing to do. Don’t leave water running when you’re brushing your teeth, limit yourself to 5-10 minute showers, make sure your faucets are never dripping, etc. Another one of my favorite methods is to go to the grocery store with reusable shopping bags; it’s a great way to save paper and plastic.
One difference between Earth Day and your average day is that today is one that should really be celebrated! Go outside and enjoy the beauty of nature!!! Have a picnic with your friends or family…trust me, there’s no better way to spend an afternoon.

So I just arrived in Montreal on Monday to film my new CW pilot “A Beautiful Life.” It’s feels great to be back on set again. I really like the structure that series television brings to my daily schedule. Couldn’t have written a better-suited project myself.
I’ve always enjoyed fashion and now I get to play a character who’s immersed in it. Pretty cool having Ashton Kutcher to report to as well since he’s producing it.
I’ll be in Montreal until April 9th when shooting wraps but I’ll keep all of you posted on how everything is going!”

“For those of you who have been following MischaBarton on Twitter, I just wanted to let you know that that wasn’t me. I’m not exactly sure who was running that account — all I know is that I JUST joined Twitter this past Monday.

“I’m sure you guys are all going to hear about it soon enough so I just wanted to tell you what is real first — I broke up with Luke when I got to London. Things just didn’t feel quite right. There was no cheating or anything terrible, the bad just started to outweigh the good and a long distance relationship is never an easy thing to do. I hope that the press will show some respect in the near future as we both find it very difficult to deal with a lot of attention or speculation from the media. I think Luke is a great guy, but the type better suited as a friend. We have a surprising amount of mutual friends in England and I don’t regret our time together, I just couldn’t keep it going. There is no bitterness between us…that I know of (sorry, I had to joke!). If there ever is a case of two people staying friends I’m sure it will be the case with us — our personalities are very good for that. Lots of love to my fans! I’ll check in again soon.
