“So lately there’s been a lot of crazy press about my weight and just so you guys know I’m happier and healthier than ever so there is no need to worry about me. Things are really well in Mischa world and I’ve just been watching what I eat. I still love my pilates and yoga, and have cut back on fatty foods a bit. My time in India and Paris really just helped me lose a little bit of weight but there’s nothing drastic going on!”

“I’m sure you’ve all heard the rumors about the alleged “love triangle” between Luke Pritchard, Tom Wright and me, so I just wanted to take this opportunity to clear the air on this matter. There is not now, nor has there ever been a “feud” between the three of us; Tom is a close friend of mine and we hang out with a lot of the same people in London. If I’m dating anyone right now, it’s Luke. Luke is an amazing guy and we enjoy spending time together, but we’ve only been seeing each other for a few weeks and we’re taking it slow. I hope this clears things up for everyone.”
“Hey guys. So Valentine’s Day is upon us and Celebuzz and I did a little Q&A that I thought you all might enjoy! So here it is!
What is the story behind your first kiss?
I actually had my first kiss while filming the movie Pups when I was 13. I was basically forced to make out with my co-star and I don’t think he really knew what he was doing. He tried to force his tongue down my throat and I was SO freaked out!
What was your best Valentine’s Day?
All of my Valentine’s Days have been pretty great! I usually have a boyfriend on Valentine’s Day so we always go to my favorite restaurant in LA, Giorgio Baldi. I’m actually in New York right now so I guess I’ll have to break that tradition this year.
Who is your secret celebrity crush?
As strange as this may sound, my secret celebrity crush is Cesar Milan. For those of you who are not familiar with Cesar, he is a professional dog trainer/dog psychologist — you might know him from the show The Dog Whisperer. Well I absolutely LOVE him and I’ve always wanted to do an episode of his show because I’m obsessed with my dogs so much!
My Valentine’s Playlist
1. Paul McCartney – Silly Love Songs
2. Fleetwood Mac – Dreams
3. The Knife – Heartbeats
4. Todd Rundgren – I Saw the Light
5. Roy Orbison – You Got It”
Actress Mischa Barton is embracing Eastern culture as she films a new movie in India–and has even learnt to play the sitar. The O.C. star will appear alongside Martin Sheen in forthcoming movie Bhopal: Prayer for Rain, based upon a real-life industrial disaster. And she is ingratiating herself with locals during filming–by experiencing new religions and enjoying traditional fare. Barton writes on her website, “I’ve been having an amazing spiritual exploration visiting Hindu temples and learning about Buddhism, both beautiful religions. Hyderabad where we’re filming is a real inspiration in the fact that Christians, Muslims and Hindus all get along so harmoniously. “I must admit I used to make fun of people who were all into yoga and chai tea thinking it was another ridiculous health fad. But now I’m that person! First of all Masala Chai tea, the traditional way with milk and sugar is delicious, and this is coming from a brit who only likes my breakfast tea!” But the actress is most pleased that she is picking up a new musical instrument. She adds, “I must say my goal coming here was to learn to play the sitar and it’s coming along real slow as apparently it’s not that easy to procure a great sitar teacher here, I guess it’s not late 60′s with Ravi Shankar and George Harrison roaming around unfortunately!!!!”
“As I’m sure most of you have already seen, I was photographed at my 23rd birthday party engaging in what most of the gossip blogs refer to as a “girl on girl kiss”. Well I just wanted to take this moment to clear the air by saying that the kiss was purely platonic! We were joking around and it was taken out of context.”
